Jim has been investing in privately-held growth technology companies for nearly 16 years. Before co-founding in 2001 the $80 million NJTC Venture Fund, Jim was a manager at Oracle Corporation in the Silicon Valley. He represents NJTC Venture Fund at nine portfolio companies and is a former Governor of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies. Joe has 18 years of experience in the venture-backed technology industry. Prior to NJTC Venture Fund, he was a partner in Andersen's Growth Company and Technology Practice, specializing in information technology, communications, and healthcare services. Joe is a CPA and a graduate of Temple University. Joe represents the Fund on the Boards of Archive Systems, V12 group, Sword Diagnostics, and Cerionx. He also sits on the Boards of the New Jersey Technology Council, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, and the Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance.

Robert was formerly a general partner at Apax Partners in New York for 15 years and at Golder Thoma Cressey in Chicago for 7 years before joining NJTC Venture Fund to direct the Roseland, NJ office. Robert has made numerous successful investments spanning the security, telecom, information services, and healthcare industries. He has extensive experience in both early stage companies and large leveraged buyouts. Robert is a past president of the NY Venture Association and holds degrees from Northwestern University and Columbia University. He sits on the Boards of Directors at CML Emergency Services, CebaTech, Cylex, Game Trust, Hycrete Technologies, Redpoint Bio, and RightAnswers, and he is an observer on the Board of Indevus Pharmaceuticals.

Phillip leads investments in healthcare and life sciences for the Fund. He received his MD and PhD in Genetics from the Yale University School of Medicine where he helped pioneer new advances in oligonucleotide-based gene therapy. Phillip completed his Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard and is a Board-certified Internal Medicine physician. He also holds a BS in cell and molecular biology from Cornell University, graduating with honors and distinction. Phillip sits on the Board of Directors at Andrew Technologies and IntegriChain, and is an Observer at Intra-Cellular Therapies, InstaMed, Sword Diagnostics, and others.
